While the Mexican flag is in a position of surrender, with an American canon on top and the American eagle ascendant on a column with raised bayonettes. This scene takes place in a marvelous desert landscape filled with cactus and fauna. The collage is comprised of fabric, watercolor pigment, and exotic bird feathers. This piece is in a superb museum-quality silver and gold gilt frame.
