Note: Following years of ceramics experimentation, Alfred Stellmacher established the porcelain factory Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel (RStK) in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia in 1892. By 1895, their ceramics became known as Amphora with early works in the Orientalist style. By the late 1890s, artists began to exhibit Art Nouveau in their sinuous lines and natural motifs. RStK exhibited and garnered numerous awards at World's Fairs from 1893 to 1904, at which time the golden period of Amphora ceramics was coming to an end.

  • Dimensions: 14 1/4 inches tall
  • Condition: Very little to no wear, gilding and jewels in good condition. A very tight line to the base, which does not extend and is not visible on the side, possibly a firing or crack from being placed down to hard, no chipping to the area. No chips or cracks to other areas. Although mostly illegible now, the vase still retains an original paper label inside the upper lip.
