A Group of 18th Century Cream, Gilt and Cobalt Cups and Saucers, Worcester and Caughley
England, circa 1780, a Worcester Dr. Wall period tea cup and saucer having a swirled cream ground, both pieces decorated with alternating diamond and floral bands near the scalloped rims and three different florals, bearing blue crescent mark; a Caughley tea cup and saucer having a ribbed cream ground with botanical relief, bearing blue S mark; a second Caughley tea cup in the same pattern as the last, bearing blue S mark; and a same pattern Caughley handled coffee cup, unmarked but almost certainly Caughley. All of the pieces of cream grounds with gilt and cobalt highlights.

  • Dimensions: Saucers 5 1/2 inch diameter
  • Condition: Some very minimal rim roughness.
