A Patinated Metal Sculpture Lamp of "Cupid", After Louis Auguste Moreau
Early 20th century lamp depicting "Cupid", after Louis Auguste Moreau. "Cupid" standing erect with laurel wreath on his head and wings behind. He's holding his bow in front, the ends fitted with a light socket with pearl embossed, shaped glass shades. Cupid stands atop a red marble plinth with a presentation plaque inscribed, "Viv, par Aug. Moreau".

  • Condition: The sculpture was repainted at a later date. There is some chipping and loss to the paint on the body of the cupid. There is a crack to the metal in the back area of one wing. Chips to corners of the marble base and plinth.
