A Rare Pair of "Dragon in Compartments" Porcelain Cabinet Plates
England, late 18th/early 19th century, also known as the Bengal Tiger or Kylin pattern, unmarked but likely Chamberlain's Worcester, the pair of plates alternating sections of fierce mythical beasts on stand and botanicals on tables, both with scalloped gilt rims.

  • Dimensions: 8 3/4 inch diameter
  • Condition: No major flaws, some rubbing to the gilding, expected slight scuffing and very minimal scratches to the central bowl, no cracks or restoration, some very minor nicks to one plate foot.
