A Very Rare Raquel Meller Perfume Flacon, R. Lalique for Roditi and Sons
Paris, circa 1925, a rare molded and enameled perfume bottle created for Roditi by Rene Lalique. The stopper molded with the name of the world-famous actress Raquel Meller, the molded design and enameling on the bottle represent the floral shawl Meller wore performing at the Casino de Paris. Molded R. Lalique mark to base, with original Made in Paris paper label, scratched mark HX to base.

Note: Roditi & Sons was a company created by the St. Louis MO department store Stix, Bayer, and Fuller to operate a buying office in Paris. Roditi contracted with Rene Lalique to create the Meller bottle for the actress and singer who had an extended American tour during 1926.

  • Dimensions: 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide, 7 /8 inches deep
  • Condition: No chips or cracks, some expected and minor surface roughness to base. Minimal enamel wear. The bottle has surface grime and exhibits signs of internal perfume residue from evaporation. No attempt has been made to clean the bottle or remove the stopper.
