Woodward was an American Impressionist painter best known for her summer garden and beach scenes painted along the New England shore, especially in Ogunquit, ME. She was the first woman president of the Providence Art Club. She studied with William Merritt Chase.

  • Condition: Faint discoloration at the previous mat opening. A few spots of foxing. This watercolor has not been examined outside of its frame.
